Black and Blue and Purple

I’m going fast,

Let’s hope this lasts,

I just went past,

My watching friends.

I started high,

I don’t know why,

I’m just the guy,

Who volunteered.

Now I’m here,

No one near,

I have some fear,

Of stopping.

Well my skateboard did,

And I’m the kid,

In the air and mid

Heading to the ground.

I traveled far,

I landed hard,

In my neighbor’s yard,

Right on my butt.

Now I hurt,

And ripped my shirt,

That’s not dirt,

My butt gonna be

Black and blue and purple.
