Has the longest name that she knows.
And every time that she asks her mom,
The length of her name grows.
When she was born,
Seven years ago,
Her first name was Sophia,
Last name Santiago.
But when she turned five,
She realized with shame,
She had a first and a last,
But no middle name.
So later that day,
When she got home from school,
She asked about her middle name,
Hoping for something cool.
That’s when her mom said
Something quite unexpected,
She said she didn’t have one,
That’s a thing that they neglected.
Sophia was upset,
Unsure what to do,
So she asked her mother,
To make up one anew.
Her mom thought for a second,
Then took just one more.
She turned to Sophia,
And said that she had four.
Sophia said thanks,
But just one is fine.
Her mom agreed,
Sabrina would be divine.

She thought that sounds nice.
However, when she asked to make sure,
Her mother added Stella for spice.

It still wasn’t that bad,
An extra name would be fun,
Two middle names she had.
But later that week,
When Sophia ask how to spell it,
Her mother looked back,
And said Sydney should fit.

Ok, now this is quite long,
She made sure not to ask,
Any more would be wrong.
Just last month,
After more than two years,
Sophia slipped up,
And nearly broke into tears.
She was finishing homework,
After school like she always tried,
When a question asked for her middle name,
And her mom added another inside.

Now that’s just a little silly.
But Sophia doesn’t dare to ask,
Because her new one could be Billy.
